I found this recipe in my Facebook feed and thought: “Wow! I don’t think I can screw that one up too bad.” I did it with my girls and we all loved it. So, here it is!
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. rolled oats (these are the oats that aren’t instant)
- 1 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 c. butter (melted)
- 3 c. apples (sliced and cored)
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350*. Grease an 8 inch square pan. Mix together brown sugar, oats, flour, and butter until combined (mix will be crumbly). Pour half in pan (I pressed mine down a bit) and then spread apples, sugar, and cinnamon over the crust. Then top with remaining crumbly mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
It’s awesome warm with a little vanilla ice cream!! Enjoy! 🙂
