LaLa’s Chops

Delicious fried pork chops!! Yum, Yum! A family favorite around our house served with mashed potatoes and gravy.

4-6 pork chops (we use boneless thinner cut usually)

Wet mix:
1 egg, cracked and lightly beaten
1cup milk

Dry mix:
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp each – onion powder, garlic powder, Paprika, Chili Powder, and Dill

Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and set aside. Mix wet ingredients in another bowl and set aside.

Dip pork chops in wet bowl, coating well.

Do not drain liquid off of chops, and immediately coat in dry ingredients. Coat well!

Heat a pan of grease. I usually put about 1.5 inches of grease in the pan.

When all chops are coated, place in pan of hot grease, and Fry for 4-6 minutes on each side or until done through – varies by chop thickness).


So good!!!
