Yum! That’s all I can say. I have seen these on Pinterest and my friend brought me some at work last year that her daughter made… But, I’ve yet to make them myself. Tonight, in my sudafed-head state, I tackled the task.
1 cup dry oats
1/4 cup raw honey
1/2 cup Natural Peanut Butter (Click the link for our homemade recipe)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Mix all ingredients. Chill in fridge for 15 mins. Roll into 1″ balls. Place on wax paper in a covered container and store in fridge. These are a great quick snack or pop a couple for a quick breakfast on the go, paired with a smoothie. Yummo!!
My kids loved these!! They wouldn’t stop eating them!
Tip: I plan to dip mine in chocolate next time to make them like a covered granola bar.
Note: My mix was a little wet and wouldn’t stick together well. So, I might add a little extra oats next time.
