Chocolate Sheet Cake

This is one of my favorite recipes… it is rich, and delicious. I can only eat about a bite sized piece though.

Cake:

2 sticks butter, softened
4 Eggs
2 Cups sugar
4 tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups Flour

Icing:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp cocoa
6 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 pound Powdered Sugar

Cake: Cream together butter and sugar, add cocoa and vanilla. Mix well, add flour. Pour into greased sheet pan, bake on 350* for 25-30 minutes.

Allow cake to fully cool.

Icing: Melt butter in a pan, add milk and cocoa, bring to a boil. Add vanilla and powdered sugar. Mix well. Spread on cake. Allow to cool.

** For an extra special deliciousness, add marshmallow to your hot cake and spread when melted. After cooled, add icing. Top with chopped peanuts. This makes this a Mississippi Mud Cake.
