Make Ahead Breakfast Burritos
We love breakfast burritos, but with school starting there is no time to make them every morning. (Read: I love my sleep more than I love breakfast burritos… that’s serious, friends.) Solution, make ahead freezer breakfast burritos.
How to prepare:
Eggs, scrambled and cooked
Steam/warm shells and fill with scrambled eggs, cheese, and any meat and veggies of your choosing. Diaper fold, wrap in foil.
We like to use either cheddar or pepper jack cheese. My son likes bacon, but I like sausage. And we like to use peppers, onions, and mushrooms… occasionally spinach.
Once wrapped in foil, place in a zipper freezer bag (or freezer safe storage container). These reheat in the oven at 425 for 7-10 mins depending on your oven. Do not microwave in foil.
